• Sectional doors — horizontal panels that lift vertically then slide along the ceiling. The modern default. Best insulation, quietest, most secure, no driveway arc. ~$1,800–$8,000 installed.
• Roller doors — one continuous curtain that rolls up into a drum at the top. Budget-friendly, durable, simple. Best where ceiling height is tight or budget is tight. ~$1,500–$3,200 installed.
• Tilt doors — single rigid panel pivots up and out. Legacy choice, only installed as like-for-like replacement on heritage homes where the architecture demands it. ~$1,800–$3,000 installed.
• Side-hung / barn-style doors — double leaves swing outwards. Rare modern choice, occasionally on country-style homes in the outer Casey rural areas. ~$2,500–$5,000 installed.

• B&D Doors — the most-installed Australian brand. Wide model range from budget Firmadoor to premium Panelift Icon. 10-year door warranty on premium models. Smart Wi-Fi openers integrate with Google Home, Alexa and HomeKit.
• Steel-Line — strong on insulated double-skin sectionals and timber-look finishes. Cedar-Look range is very convincing. 7-year warranty standard.
• Dominator — competitive pricing, solid mid-range performance, good for new estate builds. Their insulated sectionals offer the best value in the $2.5K–$4K bracket.
• Centurion — Australian-made, strong roller-door range, excellent smart opener (Reno) with Wi-Fi and battery backup as standard. Local support is great.

Install timeline.

3. Written fixed quote (48 hours): Door spec, opener spec, hardware, install cost, removal of old door, warranty terms. No hidden charges.
4. Order & supply (5–15 business days): Stock-colour doors land in ~7 days; custom colours 10–15.
5. Install day: 4–8 hours on site. Old door removed and taken away. New door, opener, tracks, springs, sensors, remotes — all in. 30-cycle test before sign-off.
6. Handover: Walk-through of auto-reverse, manual release, safety sensors, smart-opener app pairing. Warranty paperwork emailed.

Compliance — AS 4505.

Every powered door we install meets AS 4505 (Garage doors and other large access doors). That means functional auto-reverse on obstruction, working photoelectric safety sensors at 150–200mm above the slab, an easily-reached manual release in case of power outage, and full pinch- and finger-trap guards along the lateral edges. We test all four before handover, every time.
